Conference results

Международная научно-практическая конференция «Libway-2024: Наука, технологии и информация в библиотеках», посвященная 300-летию Российской академии наук (РАН), организованная ГПНТБ СО РАН совместно с ведущими научными и образовательными учреждениями и общественными организациями, прошла 18–20 марта 2024 года в отеле «Борвиха» (Бердск, Новосибирская область). В программный комитет конференции вошли представители учреждений и ведущих библиотек РАН и Национальных академий наук зарубежных стран.

Конференция включала 2 пленарных заседания, шесть секций, три семинара, два круглых стола, выставку-презентацию, презентации научных журналов и баз данных. Всего в форуме принял участие 251 человек из 24 стран; было представлено 174 доклада. В ходе мероприятия подписано два соглашения о сотрудничестве ГПНТБ СО РАН с зарубежными партнёрами.

Участники «Libway-2024» рассматривали различные аспекты деятельности библиотек в меняющемся мире: основные направления исследований открытой науки, поиск открытой научной информации, создание краеведческих баз данных, порталов и цифровых репозиториев, оцифровку традиционной книги и работу с электронными изданиями, роль библиотек в международном диалоге.

А также работу библиотек в современных условиях, особенности подготовки библиотечных кадров, деятельность библиотек по распространению научно-популярной информации, продвижению политики региона в медиасреде, проблемы развития книжной культуры, выявления, сохранения и исследования книжного и документального наследия.

Сотрудничество представителей библиотек, учреждений науки, культуры и образования имеет долгую историю и активно продолжается. Дискуссия, проведенная на конференции, несомненно, будет способствовать развитию успешных коммуникаций в дальнейшем.
